  • Written safety field manual on site/and in all RHP vehicles.
  • All workers are given a booklet to read, and is signed by employee. A copy is given upon request.

3. Training and Orientation

  • Safety orientation training for each employee annually, and at date of hire OSHA 10 conducted.
  • Site safety orientation for every person new to the job site
  • Our safety program requires training meetings for each supervisor, foreman, and employee, weekly and annually on all areas of exposure. Training is conducted yearly on the entire safety program
  • Weekly toolbox/tailgate safety meetings focus on our specific work operations/exposures
  • Job site training is done on specific hazards
  • We require equipment/operation certification training
  • We require equipment/operator check lists for all equipment

4. Administration and Procedures

  • Written safety program addresses administrative procedures, which includes record keeping, safety committees, HAZCOM, substance abuse prevention, return-to-work, emergency procedures, audits/inspections accident investigations/reporting, and training documentation.
  • Job site safety inspections are conducted weekly and monthly
  • These inspections include a routine safety inspection of equipment (i.e. scaffold, ladders, fire extinguishers, etc.)
  • Investigation of accidents is reported by the foreman and the superintendent
  • Safety discussions at all pre-construction and progress meetings
  • Rigging and lifting checks are performed prior to lifting for personnel and equipment

5. Work Rules

  • Work rules were last updated January of 2006
  • Work practices are addressed by our work rules
